Divorce Suit Reveals Hell In Pastor’s Family

Lagos pastor’s wife accused him of stealing the church funds, domestic violence and lack of care, but in the end… refuses to divorce him.

Kayode Oladoyinbo, the pastor of the Pentecostal church in Lagos, decides to dissolve marriage with his wife Christian. Despite the fact they have three children and lived together for 11 years, they could not make the grade together.
In court Christian accused his husband of something that could be the least expected from a pastor. She told that he stole money from the church funds and besides that frequently abused her and didn’t care about the family.

Their marriage is irretrievably broken after she filed the divorce claim but, most surprisingly, in the end she told in the Lagos Customary Court that she wants their marriage saved. But this time her husband opened up on his point of view about their marriage, telling that he wants to divorce immediately.
“I want this divorce. I am tired of my wife, her constant quarrels and lack of respect for me, my ministry and my family”, told the court Kayode Oladoyinbo. He also added that during their troubled relationship his wife tried to put him ablaze once and also attacked him with a knife. On another occasion she threatened to burn his church to the ground.
Eleven months ago the marriage crisis between the General Overseer of Christ Embassy International Church, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and his wife Rev.Anita has reportedly caused discord among church members.
On Sunday, August 31, 2014, two days after the news of Anita filing for divorce surfaced online, her pictures and personal information were reportedly deleted by Christ Embassy from its official website, www.christembassy.org.
