As the Nigerian army continue to make gains
against Boko Haram in the northeast region of the country, a picture of a
soldier holding the head of an alleged Boko Haram Kingpin has surfaced
on social media.

According to Nigeriacamera.net, the said Boko Haram member was beheaded for allegedly been the strongest among the group. Meanwhile, the military has also said it has taken over a place called Banki from the armed group.
Three villages were reportedly attacked with over 60 houses have been destroyed in a fresh attack by members of the Boko Haram sect.
Recall that the President Muhammadu Buhari, earlier today, revealed why the military have been winning against the insurgents, as the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), also backed the troops to wipe out the insurgents before the end of this year.
