Dallas police officers, firefighters and citizens came together for an act of heroism after a major car accident earlier this month.
And it was all captured on dash camera video.
A motorcyclist was trapped under a vehicle after a collision near the intersection of Greenville Avenue and Bryan Parkway on July 9. Surveillance video of the crash shows the driver of a sedan turning right into a parking lot from the left lane when a motorcyclist in the right lane crashed into the passenger side of the vehicle.
Police responded to the scene, along with multiple witnesses. The first attempt at using a jack to lift the vehicle off of the motorcyclist was unsuccessful, police said.
"The female motorcyclist was gasping for air as the vehicle was crushing her," Dallas Police said in a release.
What happened next was the amazing part. Watch the must-see video below or by clicking here.
